JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS- Resume Project Work During COVID19 Pandemic Situation.

General Guidelines

  1. This document is applicable to all persons and activities.
  2. The COVID19 typically causes mild to moderate respiratory illness but can be severe in some cases. The risk of spreading illness is greater in locations where people gather.
  3. No vaccine is currently available. Prevention is the key.
  4. Maintain Social Distancing (minimum of 6 feet / 2 meters) while at the site and traveling.
  5. Wash your hands regularly by using soap & water or hand sanitizer.
  6. Avoid touching your face, nose, and eyes.
  7. Use a nose mask while at the site (preferably washable nose mask)and outside your residence. Wear hand gloves at the site.
  8. Cover your mouth and nose with tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing.
  9. JSA should be communicated through TBT meetings to workgroups prior to start the job (Please insure social distance maintained during TBT meeting).
  10. Self Assessment Declaration Form must be filled by all individuals on a daily basis. Keep a record of it.
  11. Install Arogya Setu APP in all personal’s mobiles & monitoring of risk quotients.
  12. The tracking of manpower movement has to be done.
  13. No personal movement, interactions shall happen in affected zones of the personnel engaged.

1. Travelling to & from guest house / residence area to office & back. Intra site movement. (Using hired vehicle)1. Could increase the risk of transmitting the virus to a wider group, increasing the severity of the pandemic COVID-19.

2. Sitting closer to each other in transport vehicle could result in contamination and provide a path of transmission for the virus.
1. Drivers shall seek health evaluation by the medical practitioners to negate any risk of transmission disease @COVID19.

2. Social Distancing shall be maintained by ensuring 3 persons along with driver is traveling in Bolero type of vehicle and in Innova 5 persons along with the driver.

3. All vehicle shall have hand sanitizer and Keep vehicle sanitizing especially door handle and other frequently touched parts. All vehicles should be cleaned on twice in a day.

4. Use nose mask and hand gloves while at work. Frequently wash hands with a soap solution for 30 seconds.

5. Ensure while coughing or sneezing use handkerchief to cover your nose/mouth or use arm pit.

2. Visiting work areas for Inspection/Verification (Performing task in group) in vehicle.Could increase the risk of transmitting the virus to a wider group from coughing or sneezing could transmit1. Follow the Preventive measure mentioned in point 1.

2. Practice Social Distancing while on-site maintain distance limitations of 6ft/2m while discussing at the site. Limit interactions to less than 15 minutes.

3. Prohibit shaking hands or hugging and touching your eyes nose or face.

4. Maintain personal hygiene.

5. Limit face-to-face meetings and interactions to less than 15 minutes and maintain the 2 meters personal space perimeter.

6. Use video conferencing, video calling, MS Team whenever possible.

7. Avoid taking snacks (pakora) & tea in huts along the roadside.

8. Avoid spitting here & there using Gutka / Tobacco etc.
3. Attend meeting and communication with client and others (Field Personnel’s).Increased risk of transmitting the corona virus to a wider group.1. While attending meeting always remember to practice social distancing & follow hygiene measures and applicable points as above. If you are unable to maintain 2 meters distance for a period of 15 minutes or greater, use a nose mask and hand gloves compulsorily while attending the meeting.

2. If possible insist on meeting through video conferencing / video calling or MS Team.

3. Avoid unnecessary physical contact between individuals and equipment on-site and maintain good personal hygiene by wiping down surfaces and washing hands with water and soap for at least 30 seconds if available otherwise use hand sanitizer.
4. Receiving documents (hard copies) from other parties for verification.Could increase the risk of transmitting the virus to a wider if receiving document is infected.1. Unauthorized Persons shall be prohibited from the entry in the office. If the entry of a person cannot be prohibited it shall be ensured that
• Person shall be Thermally scanned, and self-declaration shall be filled that he is not infected or exposed to COVID 19.
• Receiving Documents shall be sanitized.
2. While receiving documents ensure social distancing shall be maintained.
3. While handling the documents ensure hand gloves are worn.
5. Lunch at SiteWhile handling, storing, and cleaning and eating food Contamination/ transmission for the virus COVID19 can spread.1. Need to ensure food supplied is hygienic and persons involved in preparation transportation and serving are free from the effect of coronavirus.
2. Lunch shall be taken in a small group of 3-4 persons ensuring social distancing is maintained.
3. Unauthorized persons shall be prohibited to enter the lunch area.
4. Display poster reminding hand wash with soap for 20 seconds.
5. Frequent cleaning of the Lunch area shall be carried out and ensure ample amount of liquid soap is available.
6. General GuidanceNon-observance or Failure to follow can lead to exposure of COVID19 virus & subsequent transmission to wider group.1. The site to identify and provide isolation room to quarantine and handle infected person if any
2. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 report

• Immediately & notify your supervisor and Site Manager and be isolated and work from home for 14 days if you were in direct contact with someone positively diagnosed with COVID-19. Visit the nearby medical facilities. If you develop COVID-19 symptoms, notify your Supervisor, and visit a nearby medical facility and follow the guidance given by the health care provider for treatment.

3. Do not return to work until:

• 10 days after all symptoms are gone, you have 2 consecutive negative tests for COVID-19, and/or you are cleared by the medical practitioner.

4. All emergency contact numbers including hospital handling COVID patients to be displayed/ kept available at site office and in-vehicle.

5. Check your temperature prior to coming to work and after returning home each day. If you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (upper respiratory symptoms such as cough, sore throat, congestion, fever >100.4degF (38degC)), contact your supervisor.

6. The self-assessment declaration form must be filled by individuals on a daily basis and keep the record.

7. All employees are advised to use the Arogya setu App.

8. The dedicated area needs to be identified for the collection of waste (used tissue/masks & etc.)

9. Site office/equipment to be cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis and log sheet to be maintained.
7. Persons on leave will, travel back to resume work after lockdown called off.Potential carrier of COVID 19 virus and could increase the risk of transmitting the virus to a wider.1. On arrival of all such persons on leave shall inform the Site Manager immediately.

2. Visit nearby medical facility immediately and ensure he is medically fit with reference to COVID19 signs and symptoms.

• If you develop COVID-19 symptoms, notify your Supervisor, and visit a nearby medical facility and follow the guidance given by the health care provider for treatment.

3. Do not return to work until:

• 10 days after all symptoms are gone, you have 2 consecutive negative tests for COVID-19, and/or you are cleared by the medical practitioner.

4. Follow above JSA if fit to work.
