- Leakage in hydraulic cylinder.
- Out rigger fully extendable.
- Condition of battery and lamps.
- Guards of moving part.
- No of Load lines.
- Load chart provided.
- Reverse horn.
- Load test certificate of TPI.
- Operator fitness.
- Fire extinguisher in operator cabin.
- Tyre condition.
Also, check this points
- Crane documents first to be verified
- Second operator competency certificates whether he qualifies to operate or not
- Then crane general condition
- 3rd party certificates with licensed party
- Operating area condition
- Weather conditions
- Area barricades
- Swing area clear or not
- Operating area should be no objections
- All these things need to checked and have written checklist carryout inspection and give the approval to operate

Load chart provided by crane manufactures, All cranes have different load charts.
